KES Old Boys shine at Gauteng Cricket Awards Evening!

At the Gauteng Cricket Board awards evening, held on Thursday 15 May, for the 2013/14 season it was the King Edward VII School Old Boys who walked away with many accolades and awards:

Gauteng Cricketer of the Year – Quinton de Kock

Gauteng Lions batsman of the Year – Stephen Cook

The Cubs Trophy of the Year – to Gauteng under 19’s captained by Yaseen Valli

International recognition awards were given to – Quinton de Kock, Stephen Cook and Yaseen Valli

Premier league team – Time Competition trophy went to the Old Edwardians Premier Team, featuring many KES Old Boys and current King Edward schoolboys. (Captain Ryan Cook, KES Old Boy and King Edward 1st XI Coach, is featured in the attached photo).
