KES Old Boy and Best-selling author Trevor Romain publishes new book!
13 June 2013King Edward VII School Old Boy and best-selling author and illustrator of children’s books and motivational speaker, Trevor Romain is releasing an exciting new title which is being published by Penquin Books this month called ‘Random Kak I Remember About Growing Up in South Africa’.
Trevor Romain, is an old KES boy, who now lives in Texas and his new book, Random Kak is filled with hundreds of memories, humorous commentary and whimsical drawings that made up the world for many South Africans in the 70’s and 80’s. The book began as a few fun drawings which Trevor circulated on social media sites which then became viral, spread by ex-pat communities all over the world who enjoyed this humorous and nostalgic trip down memory lane.
The graphic biography of Trevor clearly illustrates the ‘colourful journey’ Trevor has taken over the years and King Edward celebrates in his accomplishments and eagerly awaits the delivery of his new book to our library, so that the boys of King Edward can enjoy the memories of this talented author.
