State of Art Mathematics Centre of Excellence Official Opening!

Thursday, 7 September was a very special and memorable day for the staff and learners of King Edward VII School, as our Mathematics Centre was officially opened by Mr Lovatt & the School Governing Body.

The King Edward VII community thanks `The Victor Daitz Foundation` and Èdgar Droste Trust`, for the extraordinary generous support of the project to construct our new `state of art` Mathematics Centre, another watershed landmark in our continuous pursuit of excellence.

Invited guests, sponsors, donors, Trust members, Old Boys’, governors, project team managers and friends of the School took part in the cutting of the ribbon and formalities to officially declare The Victor Daitz Mathematics Centre OPEN!

Wonderful to have Mr Sam Abrahams, Chairman of The Victor Daitz Foundation, officiate the opening along with Headmaster, Mr Lovatt.

This magnificent facility was made possible by the generosity, sponsorship and donations from the following group of very special people:

* The Victor Daitz Foundation
* The Edgar Droste Trust
* The Old Boys’ Association – sponsored & donated the new ‘Old Boys’ Gates’.

This top class facility will now house the Mathematics Department & the new hockey pavilion. Added additions & projects like this would not be possible, without the generosity and support of our wonderful Old Boy Community and we are indeed blessed with this most beautiful building.

Congratulations to all involved in this project, namely Joy Campkin-Smith of Studio Joy & Architects and the construction/project team of Akhane Construction Pty Ltd for their vision and creativity in this project. To each and every person involved in this project, we salute you and thank you for your contribution no matter how small or big.

Very proud day for King Edward VII School.

Tradition of Excellence continues.

Strenue.

Go School.
